The digital journal Biodiversidad en la Práctica (BEP) publishes technical or scientific studies of ongoing and early research related to the integral management of biodiversity and ecosystem services in the context of the institutional mission.
These documents, the result of activities of social appropriation and circulation of specialized knowledge, are a fundamental part of the evaluable fulfillment of the individual work plans of the Institute's researchers. In addition, it allows authors (Institute researchers or invited consultants) to share ideas about a specific topic, such as a process, prior to the publication of an article in a scientific journal or any other means of communication in science. These types of documents are the basis for related documents, and are mainly consulted and cited by the scientific community.
Before publication, the documents are submitted to a peer review process (internal or external), whereby the authors receive suggestions and recommendations for adjustments prior to the formal presentation of the work to the scientific community.
The original works will be sent in digital support through this platform OJS. To do this, the author must create his user in the magazine (link Register) and later "Login". Once authenticated in OJS, the author must follow the instructions provided by the system during the process of sending articles. As support material we offer the authors the following User Manual to familiarize themselves with the platform. It should be noted that the review and editing of articles must be done within the OJS platform and therefore, all authors must register in the journal and obtain their respective user and password.
