Euglossine bees (Hymenoptera: Apidae) from the Neotropical region: A species checklist with notes on their biology

Abstract (en):

Para todas las especies de abejas euglossinas damos la distribución geográfica (por países y altura) y los sexos que hasta ahora se conocen; también proveemos los sinónimos taxonómicos para cada taxón. Se muestran las agrupaciones subgenéricas (subgéneros y grupos de especies) a los cuales pertenecen cada una de las especies de la tribu Euglossini. Se enlistan las especies cuyos nidos se conocen o han sido descritos y se registran los parásitos de nido y los lugares de nidificación. Tanto para machos como hembras reportamos las especies de plantas visitadas por alimento y para solo las hembras las plantas visitadas por materiales de aprovisionamiento de celdas. Para los machos reportamos las especies de plantas visitadas en busca de sustancias aromáticas al igual que los compuestos puros que atraen los machos de cada especie.
