Abstract (en):

The current state of the ichthyological collection of the Museo de La Salle (MLS), at the Universidad de la Salle in Bogotá is presented. The study includes a historic perspective of the process of formation of the MLS collections, and contributions carried out by the Museo de La Salle to the ichthyological investigation of the country. More than 6400 marine and continental fish specimens were revised. The taxonomic listing of the fish collection made by the MLS contains 24 orders, 73 families and 113 genera, representing the five basins regions of Colombia (Amazonas, Caribbean, Magdalena-Cauca, Orinoco and Pacific).

Se presenta el estado actual de la colección de peces del Museo de La Salle (MLS), perteneciente a la Universidad de La Salle, Bogotá. El estudio incluye una perspectiva histórica del proceso de formación de las colecciones MLS y los aportes realizados por el Museo de La Salle a la investigación ictiológica del país. Se revisaron más de 6.400 especímenes de peces continentales y marinos. El listado taxonómico de los peces en la colección en el MLS, incluye 24 órdenes, 73 familias y 113 géneros que representan las cinco cuencas de Colombia (Amazonas, Caribe, Magdalena-Cauca, Orinoco y Pacífico).
