Abstract (en):
As result of recent explorations in the Andean Cordillera Oriental of Colombia, Tragopogon porrifolius L. (Asteraceae: Cichorieae) is reported for the first time for this country. This study provides ecological information, geographic distribution, photographs, and comments about the particular morphological characteristics of the new reported species.

Como resultado de exploraciones recientes en la cordillera Oriental andina de Colombia, se registra por primera para el país a Tragopogon porrifolius L. (Asteraceae: Cichorieae). Se presentan la distribución geográfica, aspectos ecológicos y varias fotografías, así como algunos comentarios sobre características morfológicas particulares de esta especie.
