Echinoderms from Cabo de la Vela (La Guajira, Colombia) in the reference collection of the El Bosque University

Abstract (en):

The echinoderms present in the reference collection of the Museum of Sciences University El Bosque were collected during various field trips by students of Biology program at Cabo de la Vela between 2005 and 2010. The specimens were reviewed and identified using different keys and taxonomic guides and confirmed by specialists. A total of 107 specimens, distributed in 9 orders, 11 families 12 genus and 17 species was obtained.

Los Equinodermos presentes en la colección de referencia del Museo de Ciencias de la Universidad El Bosque fueron colectados durante las diferentes salidas de campo realizadas por los estudiantes del programa de Biología al Cabo de la Vela entre 2005 y 2010. Los ejemplares fueron revisados y determinados usando diferentes claves y guías taxonómicas y confirmados por especialistas. Se identificaron 107 ejemplares distribuidos en 9 órdenes, 11 familias, 12 géneros y 17 especies 17 especies, distribuidas en 9 órdenes, 11 familias y 12 géneros.
