Se registran cuatro nuevas especies de camarones de agua dulce de la familia Palaemonidae para Colombia:
Macrobrachium dierytrhum Pereira, 1986; Macrobrachium manningi Pereira y Lasso, 2007; Pseudopalaemon
gouldingi Kensley y Walker, 1982 y Pseudopalaemon nigramnis Kensley y Walker, 1982, provenientes del río
Bita, cuenca del río Orinoco.
