This research documents 27 new dragonfly records for the department of Córdoba, Colombia. Identified specimens include rare and endangered species, such as Drepanoneura letitia, Agriogomphus jessei, Oligoclada heliophila and Perigomphus pallydistilus. In total, 151 dragonflies were collected in four localities in the department’s southern region. Benthic and aerial nets were used, in addition to a combination of methods to search for aquatic larvae and terrestrial adults. The sampled areas, rich in biodiversity, are threatened by human activities such as agriculture and mining, which underline the need for ecosystem conservation.
