Diversity of benthic marine algae of the colombian Atlantic

Abstract (en):

To emphasize, the present checklist will contribute to the understanding of species distributions, not only of economic, commercial, and pharmaceutical important seaweeds, but also of species of ecologic interest (e.g. as bioindicators). The list will permit estimates of marine algal diversity in the Colombian Atlantic, and will facilitate further descriptions of marine flora encouraging additional studies such as taxonomic revisions and phylogeography analyses
